Wonya Malik Ryan, a 28-year-old father from Augusta, Georgia, was fatally shot in the early hours of January 31, 2024. The incident occurred at the East Augusta Commons townhomes located at 420 East Boundary Street in Augusta. Ryan was shot at least once and was rushed to Wellstar MCG Health, where he was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m..
