Davonta Lamar McCloud, a 30-year-old African American man, was fatally shot inside his home on Higdon Street in Augusta, Georgia, during the early hours of January 25, 2025. The Richmond County Coroner pronounced him dead at 5:07 a.m. A second victim, 31-year-old African American male Omar Ikea Andrews, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
