Damien Patrick, a 19-year-old male from Hephzibah, Georgia, was fatally shot outside a Family Dollar store in Augusta on February 4, 2025. The incident occurred in broad daylight at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Laney Walker Boulevard. Richmond County authorities responded to the scene, where Patrick had already been transported by private vehicle to Piedmont Hospital. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m.
