In the late spring of 2021, the life of 58-year-old Ira Green was cut short in Augusta, Georgia. On the evening of Saturday, May 22, 2021, authorities responded to a call on Cougar Drive where they found Green suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident proved to be fatal, and an investigation into the circumstances of his death was launched by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
