In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 20, 2024, a night out at a club on Gordon Highway in Augusta, Georgia, turned tragic, ending the life of 22-year-old Chrishawn Bennelle Martin. The young man was at Club Rain when gunfire erupted, shattering the weekend revelry.

Richmond County deputies were called to the scene, where they discovered Martin suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Wellstar MCG Health for medical attention. Despite the efforts ...
