On a Sunday afternoon in Augusta, Georgia, tragedy struck at a hotel on Claussen Road, forever altering the life of 62-year-old Barry Monoochee Lew. On January 8, 2023, Richmond County deputies responded to a call of a shooting at the establishment at approximately 2:10 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Lew suffering from a gunshot wound.
