Deivante McFadden, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 12, 2020, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when deputies responded to a call about a vehicle that had struck a tree on Winston Way. Upon arrival, they found McFadden unresponsive behind the wheel, having sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to AU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
