In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Augusta, Georgia, the life of 33-year-old Otis Keith Pearce Jr. was tragically cut short. On August 19, 2026, Pearce was shot and killed on the front porch of a home on the 3500 block of Rushing Road. The incident unfolded around 11:21 p.m., and despite the response of deputies, Pearce was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after midnight on August 20, 2026.
