Karl Alan Hardge, a 65-year-old African American man from Augusta, GA, tragically lost his life on March 14, 2015. He was shot once in the upper torso and was subsequently taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:59 p.m. by Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose. The incident occurred on Leland Drive, and the circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear.
