Johndrick Oliphant, a 19-year-old African American male, was found dead on January 28, 2022, in Augusta, Georgia. His body was discovered with a gunshot wound on Stone Road around 10:30 a.m. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office was investigating the incident and looking for a blue 2016-2019 Nissan Sentra believed to be involved in the shooting. The vehicle was located shortly after the incident, but no suspect was immediately identified.
