On the evening of March 15, 2001, Daniel Robert 'Danny' Petrole, a 21-year-old male, was shot and killed in his car outside of his townhouse in Bristow, Virginia. A graduate of Centreville High School and a student at Northern Virginia Community College, Petrole also worked part-time as a delivery driver for a florist. To the outside world, he appeared to be a typical young man, but the investigation into his murder would soon uncover a far more dangerous and lucrative side to his life.
