Roy Eugene Rumsey, aged 58, tragically died on July 27, 2016, in Fairfax, Virginia. His death was part of a harrowing incident that also claimed the life of his two-year-old daughter, Kyra Franchetti. The Fairfax County police ruled the deaths as a murder-suicide. According to reports, the bodies of Roy and Kyra were discovered in an upstairs bedroom of their home following a house fire.
