In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Norfolk, Virginia, tragedy struck, leaving a family to mourn and a community to wonder. On August 19, 2021, 36-year-old Marvin T. Walton, a male resident of the city, was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Dubose Drive, where police were dispatched shortly after 10:00 p.m. following a report of a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Walton, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
