Anthony L. Long, a 27-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2015, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred during the early hours of June 26, 2015, at a party in the 800 block of West 36th Street in Norfolk. According to reports, an argument broke out at the gathering, leading to multiple gunshots being fired. Long was seriously injured and was taken to the Children’s Hospital of the King's Daughters, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
