Shuntrel La-Marcus McNear, a 26-year-old man, passed away on January 26, 2025. His death occurred in Franklin, Virginia, following a shooting incident. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at the intersection of Laurel Street and South Street around 3:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered McNear suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
