In the early morning hours of September 28, 2024, a quiet neighborhood in Franklin, Virginia, was disturbed by the sounds of violence. Residents on Dorchester Street were awakened by what would soon be discovered as a fatal shooting. Police received a call at approximately 3:12 a.m. and were dispatched to the 1600 block of the street.
