In the summer of 2024, a tragedy unfolded in Augusta, Georgia, that cut short the life of Ceon Ulmer. On July 2, 2024, in the front yard of a residence in the 1800 block of Warren Street, the 38-year-old male was discovered unresponsive, having sustained at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite any attempts to render aid, Ulmer was pronounced dead at the scene, marking another life lost to gun violence.
