Michael Dodge II, 35, a White male, was shot and killed on October 21, 2025, while working at a property in the 600 block of Mountain View Road in Stafford County, just north of Fredericksburg. Deputies found him fatally wounded at the scene after a coworker reported trouble at the address; authorities said he was there on assignment for a mortgage company to secure the home, which was believed to be vacant. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
