On December 14, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., 23-year-old Tyler Lee Jones was fatally shot in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. Fredericksburg Police officers, responding to gunfire near the 400 block of William Street, discovered Jones on Charles Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
