Thomas Patrick Weidle, 31, male, White/Caucasian, was found fatally shot on July 19, 2025, in the Fredericksburg area after deputies responded around 12:40 p.m. to a home on Rocky Run Road in South Stafford. At the residence, deputies discovered a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene. Family notices later identified the victim as Army Captain Thomas Patrick Weidle and said his death was being actively investigated as a homicide.
