Dusty Shane Freeman, 42, a male from Wilsonville, Alabama, died on the night of September 30, 2025, after a shooting at a home on Hillside Drive. Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched at about 9:41 p.m. following a 911 call; when first responders arrived, Freeman was found deceased at the scene. He lived in the residence with his parents.
