On January 28, 2019, 24-year-old Jeremy Lavender was found critically injured in his vehicle under the I-59 overpass on Oporto-Madrid Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding to reports of gunfire around 4 p.m., police and firefighters discovered Lavender in a wrecked gray Honda Accord. He was transported to UAB Hospital's Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators noted at least one bullet hole in his vehicle, indicating that Lavender had been shot prior to the crash. ...Read More
