On December 27, 2019, 32-year-old Fredrick Adams was fatally shot in his Birmingham, Alabama, apartment. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at 832 24th Street South. Adams responded to a knock at his back door and was subsequently shot. Upon arrival, officers found him unresponsive in the kitchen area; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
