On July 26, 2022, 18-year-old Daniel Edward Fowler was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 8:45 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of 21st Street North, in the Druid Hills area. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed at the bottom of an apartment complex parking lot.
