In the autumn of 1990, the city of Richmond, Virginia, was gripped by a growing sense of unease. A series of brutal killings, later dubbed the "Golden Years Murders," had begun, targeting vulnerable elderly women in their own homes. On October 3rd, 61-year-old Mary Miller Coffee, a Black female, tragically became one of the victims in this string of unsolved crimes.
