Katherine A. Wiglesworth, a 47-year-old resident of Amelia Court House, Virginia, was found dead on March 4, 2017, in the parking lot of the Metropolitan African American Baptist Church located on Warwick Road in Richmond, Virginia. Her body was discovered by Richmond police officers who responded to a call at approximately 6:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Wiglesworth with apparent injuries, and she was pronounced dead by EMS crews shortly thereafter.
