Death by Force

Dora Hill, a 15-year-old African American girl from Richmond, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on April 2, 2025, in the Jackson Ward neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near North 1st and East Hill Streets, where neighbors reported hearing an argument followed by a gunshot and screaming. A small bouquet wrapped in a red ribbon was placed at the scene in remembrance of the young victim.
