In a tragic turn of events on October 8, 2014, 19-year-old Adreena D. Gary lost her life in a violent incident in Richmond, Virginia. Remembered as a kind and helpful individual, Adreena had aspirations of becoming a lawyer and was studying criminal justice. She found herself in the midst of a domestic dispute at the home of her friend, 22-year-old Michelle S. Kelly, on East Roanoke Street, where she was attempting to mediate the conflict between Michelle and her ex-boyfriend, Traymont Burton.
