On February 13, 2023, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Richmond Police responded to a call from 29-year-old Dajon Baskerville, who reported that he had shot his girlfriend, 31-year-old Summer Fuller, in their apartment on Chamberlayne Avenue. Upon arrival, officers heard a gunshot from inside the apartment, prompting them to breach the door. Inside, they found Baskerville and Fuller, who had sustained a gunshot wound. Fuller was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
