Devin "Boom" McGregor, a 5-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2022, in Chicago, IL. Devin was struck by a bullet during a drive-by shooting in the Rogers Park neighborhood. The incident occurred while he was sitting in the back seat of his mother's car, saying goodbye to his father.
