Jeffrey King, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 28, 2021, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred at a Citgo gas station located at 83rd Street and Stony Island Avenue in the Avalon Park neighborhood. According to reports, Jeffrey King was involved in a physical altercation with three male suspects at approximately 11:40 a.m. During the altercation, one of the suspects struck King in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.
