Raekwon Tyrell Brinson, 28, a Black/African American male, was shot and killed on July 10, 2025, at The One Stop convenience store at 2382 Barton Chapel Road in Augusta, Georgia. According to investigators, he was a customer standing in the doorway when he was struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene at 2:52 p.m. Deputies said the incident did not appear to be a robbery, and an autopsy was scheduled as detectives worked to determine motive.
