La-tiyah S. Hood, a 28-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost her life in the early minutes of January 1, 2020. Hood was attending a New Year's Eve celebration when she was struck by a bullet. The incident occurred just before 12:15 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Avenue.
