On the morning of May 7, 2025, 90-year-old Woodard McClure, a white male resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, was fatally shot in his home on the 500 block of Rodney Lane. His daughter, 43-year-old Jennifer Mulligan, also a resident of Virginia Beach, contacted emergency services and admitted to shooting her father. Upon arrival, police found Woodard McClure deceased from a gunshot wound to the head.
