On the morning of Friday, September 24, 1993, 31-year-old David Ronald Hart was given a ride by his mother to the corner of Route 18 and Walker Lane in South Franklin Township, Pennsylvania. He was on his way to a local masonry job, which he reportedly completed later that day. David received his paycheck after finishing his work, but someone else ended up cashing it.
