In the summer of 2003, 59-year-old Revell Reuben Jeeter was living a quiet life in Harrisonville, a small community in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. A retired man, Jeeter was known to be a bit of a loner, with his primary companion being his Jack Russell terrier, Bubba. On the afternoon of July 14, 2003, between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., Jeeter was seen at the Lincoln Way Market in the nearby town of McConnellsburg.
