On a fall day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one-year-old Jamie Martin Thornton was at a family birthday party on McKnight Street on October 4, 1986. He was just a month away from his second birthday. That afternoon, the little boy with brown hair and brown eyes was playing with his five-year-old cousin. At the time of his disappearance, Jamie was wearing a green tank top, blue shorts, and blue tennis shoes. A distinguishing feature of the young boy is a birthmark located on his right thigh.
