On the evening of February 3, 2025, 24-year-old African American male Karon Makhai Cann was fatally shot in Severn, Maryland. At approximately 7:10 p.m., Anne Arundel County police responded to reports of multiple gunshots near Severn Tree Boulevard and Sea Pine Circle.
