In the early morning hours of a mid-May day, the quiet of a Severn, Maryland neighborhood was broken by the sound of gunfire. It was approximately 2:45 a.m. on May 15, 2023, when officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were dispatched to the 8100 block of Meade Village Road following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
