On January 25, 2023, Markus Nocho, a 26-year-old resident of Odenton, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of a Taco Bell located in the Ridgeview Plaza Shopping Center in Hanover. Witnesses reported that Nocho was approached by Alexander Williams, a 34-year-old from Severn, who opened fire on him.
