In the late summer of 2025, a quiet suburban street in Hanover, Maryland, became the scene of a targeted and fatal act of violence. On the afternoon of Sunday, September 14th, 35-year-old Deandre Simms had just left his residence and was inside his vehicle when he was suddenly ambushed. An assailant fired multiple shots into his car, inflicting life-threatening injuries before fleeing the scene.
