Tresa Williams, a 21-year-old African American woman, was found dead on October 22, 1989, at 4136 Euclid Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Her death was part of a series of murders committed by Ray Shawn Jackson, known as "The Gillham Park Strangler," who targeted women in the Kansas City area between September 1989 and April 1990.
