Rene Austin, aged 60, was tragically shot and killed on September 29, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at her home on Booth Avenue, where Austin's daughter made the devastating discovery after hearing gunfire. Authorities were called to the scene just before midnight, finding Austin with fatal gunshot wounds in her bedroom. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
