On the evening of February 10, 2026, Brittnee McMillon, a 26-year-old woman, was found deceased in Kansas City, Missouri. The discovery was made after police responded to calls of gunfire behind an apartment building.
Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of E. Armour Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. following multiple reports from residents who heard the sound of shots. Upon their arrival, authorities were directed to a parking lot where they located a vehicle.
Inside, they found Brittnee McMillon and 28-year-old Jerrell Westmoreland unresponsive. Both had sustained apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were called to the scene and pronounced both individuals deceased.
The Kansas City Police Department's homicide detectives and crime scene investigators have initiated a double homicide investigation. They are currently processing the scene for evidence and seeking information from the public.
