Janice Berryman, a 36-year-old woman, was found dead on October 28, 1989, in Gillham Park, Kansas City, Missouri. Her death was part of a series of murders committed by Ray Shawn Jackson, known as the "Gillham Park Strangler". Jackson was responsible for the deaths of six women between September 1989 and April 1990, targeting victims in and around Gillham Park.
