Jacquard Evans, a 27-year-old man from Nashville, TN, tragically died on February 28, 2016, from a gunshot wound to the chest. Evans was outside a residence on Capitol Point when he was shot by Jonathan Hudspeth, 24, who is the brother of Evans' girlfriend. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. after Evans arrived to pick up his belongings and got into a verbal and physical altercation with his girlfriend.
