In a tragic turn of events on a Wednesday afternoon in May 2022, a prearranged meeting in the parking lot of the Valley Ridge Apartments on Harding Pike in Nashville ended in the death of 20-year-old Nicholas Spivey. The young man, a resident of the apartment complex, was involved in what detectives believe was a targeted shooting. The incident unfolded when at least two, and possibly three, individuals arrived in a silver Hyundai Sonata for the scheduled meeting with Spivey.
