Evette Clint, a 21-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was killed on May 10, 2017. The incident took place in Swope Park, where Clint was attending a graduation celebration with friends. Around 9 p.m. on May 7, 2017, a group of armed men began indiscriminately firing into a crowd at the park, causing panic and chaos. Clint was struck while attempting to flee the scene, and she sustained a gunshot wound that ultimately led to her death three days later in the hospital.
