On February 2, 2025, tragedy struck a household in Kansas City, Missouri, when 73-year-old Sherri Duncan, a white woman, was found shot to death alongside two other victims—her 49-year-old daughter, Jodie Hopcus, and her 24-year-old granddaughter, Hailey Hopcus.
