A 34-year-old man, Stephen Laton Moore, tragically lost his life in the early hours of Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Known to his loved ones as 'Booty,' he was shot and killed on East 5th Street. Chattanooga Police responded to a call about a person shot in the 2500 block of the street at approximately 12:19 a.m. where they found Moore. His death was ruled a homicide.
More than a year after his death, his case remained one of several unsolved homicides in the city.
